ABOUT LAUREN
Blossom Speech & Feeding was founded by Lauren Bair, a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric feeding and swallowing. Lauren graduated in 2008 with a M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been an ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) certified and Pennsylvania-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist since 2009. Lauren’s passion lies in treating the pediatric population, and helping children thrive with eating and communicating from infancy.

You can email, call, or text us to schedule a free phone consultation, so we can talk about your concerns and goals for your child. If you decide to proceed with an evaluation, we will give you information on how to fill out our intake paperwork, so that we can make sure we are fully prepared for your child’s evaluation.

Evaluation
Our evaluation is comprehensive and ranges from 60-90 minutes in length. We will use this time to gain an understanding of your child’s strengths and needs, preferences, and your goals as a family. Following the evaluation, we will develop a plan of care for your child that is aligned with your goals, and provide you with a detailed written report.

Therapy
We will then begin therapy, with the length and frequency of sessions individualized to your child’s needs. During this process, we will continuously assess your child’s progress, make adjustments as necessary, and offer a home program to ensure carryover to your child’s natural environments.
